Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
The Mini Medical School Camp offers an immersive summer experience where young campers discover the fascinating world of medicine and human anatomy. This camp combines educational lectures with practical, hands-on experiments and crafts such as making stethoscopes, inflatable lungs, and heart models. Campers learn to care for patients by treating their stuffed animals, understand the purpose of X-rays, and explore blood components and first aid essentials. Each participant receives a medical kit and a copy of “Good Night Little Doctor,” a storybook that promotes kindness, professionalism, and comprehensive care in medicine. Available as a full-day camp from 9 AM to 4 PM on weekdays, with pre- and post-camp options, it also includes a half-day program option for younger kids aged 4 to 5. Held at the First Unitarian Universalist Church, this camp encourages curiosity and fosters a love for science and healthcare in a supportive setting.
