The Health Careers Institute at Midwestern University offers high school sophomores through seniors an immersive eight-day summer experience focused on exploring a range of health science careers. From July 10th to 19th, attendees participate in daily 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. workshops led by knowledgeable faculty and senior students. The program emphasizes practical clinical skills, anatomy, and career preparation, bolstered by guest speaker sessions covering relevant health issues such as Drug Addiction. Limited to 64 students annually, this free, educational summer camp seeks driven students eager to gain a comprehensive understanding of medical and health-related professions and prepare for college studies.
