MedQuest College Veterinary Technology Program

MedQuest College offers an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program designed to prepare students for a career as Veterinary Technicians, who work under veterinarians to provide comprehensive animal care. The program is conducted at campuses in Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky, and focuses on developing skills essential for small, large, and exotic animal care. It covers clinical procedures, client relations, pharmacy, anesthesia, surgery support, laboratory work, and animal handling. The curriculum includes extensive hands-on learning via on-campus classes combined with externships. Support services include career counseling, resume and interview preparation, and lifelong job placement assistance for graduates. Students who complete the program are eligible to apply for the national Veterinary Technology exam and state licensure. The program aims to cultivate technically proficient, caring, and ethical veterinary technicians dedicated to ongoing professional development.
