Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
The Medical School Early Acceptance Program (MSEAP) jointly offered by Middle Tennessee State University and Meharry Medical College is designed for students aiming for careers as primary care physicians in underserved or rural parts of Tennessee. This seven-year program admits freshmen who will complete a specialized premedical track followed immediately by medical training, earning both an undergraduate science degree and medical doctorate. Applicants must be Tennessee residents with competitive ACT/SAT scores and strong high school academics to ensure readiness for the rigorous curriculum. Acceptance provides conditional entry to Meharry Medical College and financial aid opportunities. Importantly, participants commit to serving medically underserved populations through a residency plus an additional post-residency service period in Tennessee rural settings. Key application deadlines require prospective students to gain admission to MTSU by December 1, 2025, establish an online PipelineMT profile, and submit a detailed application that includes a personal statement, academic resume, and recommendation letters illustrating their motivation and qualifications for this career path.
