This summer program offers an engaging, in-person educational experience for high school juniors and seniors aged 16 and above at the UH Mānoa John A. Burns School of Medicine in Kaka‘ako. Running for one week, it fosters an interactive learning setting where students learn about medical diagnosis and treatment related to common illnesses in Hawai‘i. Through hands-on activities, including anatomy labs, clinical skills training, computerized simulations, and patient interviews, participants develop essential clinical knowledge and skills. The program uniquely blends scientific understanding with practical application, helping students explore their potential in healthcare professions while gaining firsthand medical experience.
