Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
MAPP is an intensive eight-week summer initiative aimed at helping pre-medical students enhance their academic capabilities and readiness for medical school applications. Candidates from diverse backgrounds, especially those connected to underserved communities, are encouraged to apply. The curriculum includes Kaplan MCAT preparation courses, personal and professional development workshops, and weekly cohort meetings. Participants benefit from individualized mentoring by medical students and gain clinical shadowing experience when available. The program is selection-based, targeting college juniors, seniors, graduate students, and recent graduates who plan to take the MCAT and submit medical school applications by the next spring. Students engage in comprehensive test preparation with supplemental tutoring and have access to extensive practice tests and study materials to optimize their readiness.
