MD Camp at Ohio State

MD Camp is a three-week day camp hosted by The Ohio State University targeting high school students passionate about medicine. This camp immerses participants in the daily life and challenges of medical school by providing real-world experiences such as shadowing doctors at reputable medical centers and engaging in hands-on clinical workshops. Students also participate in lectures on medical topics, problem-solving sessions, research activities, and a community service project. The camp is designed to foster a deeper understanding of the medical profession and enhance students’ academic and personal growth. Open to Ohio high school students entering grades 10 through 12, applicants should meet GPA criteria and submit an application with recommendations and transcripts. The tuition fee is $325, with scholarships offered for qualified students. Campers must secure their own accommodation and transportation.
