Marine Biologist Experience at the Aquarium

Designed for young teens aged 12 to 16, the Marine Biologist Experience offers a two-day in-depth study of ocean ecosystems at the Aquarium. Campers actively engage in scientific exploration through collecting and analyzing water samples from various habitats, seeking aquatic life, handling preserved specimens, and performing dissections. This comprehensive program mirrors the work of trained marine biologists, encouraging discovery and inquiry about the ocean’s inhabitants and their environments. Emphasis is placed on environmental preservation and understanding marine biodiversity. Participants need to come prepared with clothes that can get wet, water-resistant boots, and packed lunch, with snacks and drinks provided on-site, to fully enjoy this educational adventure.
