Marian University Healthcare Camp

Marian University’s Healthcare Camp offers an engaging and educational one-week day camp that immerses high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors in the world of healthcare careers. This program is designed to be hands-on and technologically advanced, allowing students to experience the practical aspects of medical professions. Campers will collaborate with university medical and nursing students, seasoned faculty, and clinical partners to gain real-world insights and experiences. The camp features activities such as conducting procedures in a simulated medical lab, learning orthopedic techniques like bone stinting, exploring sports science, and conducting medical research. Held from June 5 to June 9, 2023, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily at Marian University’s Michael A. Evans Center for Health Sciences in Indianapolis, the camp offers a comprehensive education for just $100, inclusive of meals and materials, with financial aid options available. The initiative strives to enhance workforce diversity by granting access to top-notch healthcare education, supported by scholarship opportunities exceeding $500,000 for participants.
