Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
NYU Tandon’s Summer Program for Machine Learning introduces high school students to computer science, data analyses, mathematical techniques, and logic underlying machine learning and AI. The 2-week, full-day program is designed for students who have completed Algebra 2 or equivalent and have some programming experience. It covers fundamental topics like video and image recognition, autonomous vehicles, and diagnostic medical technologies, with lessons on core machine learning principles such as model development, neural networks, and linear regressions. The camp emphasizes engineering problem solving and societal challenge applications, offering classes on NYU’s Washington Square Park campus in New York City. Students attend Monday through Friday, participate in projects, and can engage in on-campus activities and organized NYC excursions.
