Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
Designed for children aged 9-11, the Mach I Aviation Challenge immerses campers in a six-day, five-night aviation adventure focusing on critical thinking, leadership, and cooperation. Campers become fighter pilots in training, using flight simulators to master control systems and mission scenarios. The curriculum emphasizes aviation fundamentals alongside vital survival skills for land and water. Activities provide hands-on learning about navigation, air combat tactics, and airframe engineering, as well as exposure to retired aircraft and Unmanned Aerial Systems. Throughout the stay, campers participate in team-building events and a Field Training Exercise, culminating with skills in drill commands and a planetarium experience. The camp also features a digital Mission Control platform for easy management of the camper’s journey and logistics.
