The Sabine Summer STEAM Camp, offered by Louisiana GEAR UP, provides an engaging four-day educational workshop for students entering grades 6 through 9 from Sabine Parish. Hosted at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, campers are guided by college faculty through a variety of practical and interactive sessions in the areas of Science, Technology, English, Art, and Math each morning. Beyond academics, students partake in campus tours and gain insights into careers related to Fine & Graphic Arts, Information Systems, Nursing, Journalism, and Communication Studies. This no-cost program includes transportation, making it accessible for all Sabine Parish students eager to experience college life and STEAM education.
