Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
Lees-McRae College offers a specialized summer camp for wildlife science enthusiasts entering 11th or 12th grade. This program provides a rich learning environment where students explore wildlife ecology, biology, and conservation. Through immersive fieldwork at the Elk Valley Preserve and hands-on experiences at the May Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, campers gain practical knowledge in veterinary care and wildlife management. The camp is divided into two sessions targeting different experience levels: an introductory week for those curious about natural sciences and a second week for students aiming to pursue wildlife biology in college, involving advanced clinical and research activities under expert guidance.
