Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
Understanding the challenging and rewarding path to a medical career, the Kansas City University Medical Partners Program offers qualified Rockhurst University sophomore pre-medical students a direct pathway to a DO degree in seven years. Instead of the traditional route, this program streamlines the process by combining undergraduate and medical school curricula while waiving the MCAT requirement. Ideal candidates demonstrate solid academic achievement, leadership roles, sustained volunteerism, and a deep interest in osteopathic medicine. The program’s first phase focuses on bachelor’s studies with an emphasis on science courses; upon successful completion, students advance to KCU’s medical curriculum. This program requires maintaining strong GPAs and completing course prerequisites. Customized scheduling and mentorship help guide students to medical school while achieving undergraduate credentials concurrently.
