Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
Junior Pilot Summer Camp offers a hands-on, educational aviation experience spread over two days, focusing on flight fundamentals, airport operations, and practical flight planning skills. Conducted at an air museum, the camp operates Thursday and Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and starts with check-in at 8:30 am. Campers receive instruction in an innovative STEM classroom set inside a Boeing 727, gaining insight into flight operations, communication protocols, and potential career paths in aviation. The camp culminates with a Discovery Flight, where students board single-engine aircraft in small groups to apply learned navigation and communication skills in real flight scenarios. The program includes all materials, a camp T-shirt, and daily lunch. It accommodates youths in grades 6 to 12 through two separate sessions to maintain effective group sizes, capped at 21 participants per session for focused learning. Scholarships are available to assist with fees, providing an accessible gateway into aviation education and experience for aspiring pilots.
