The Junior Doctors of Tomorrow Summer Program offers high school juniors and seniors a unique opportunity to dive into the medical profession through a comprehensive week-long workshop hosted at the FIU Modesto Maidique Campus. Conducted from June 23 to 27, 2025, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., the program features hands-on clinical experiences, interactive educational sessions, and mentorship from seasoned medical practitioners. With a cap of 30 participants per session, the initiative provides aspiring medical students the chance to develop critical skills and insights needed for a future in health care. Funded by notable organizations including the Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida, the program is tuition-free but participants are responsible for their own transportation. Eligibility requires a minimum 3.0 GPA, a written essay, recommendation letter, and current academic records, ensuring a highly engaged and qualified student body.
