Jr. Wildlife Vet 103

Designed for middle schoolers in grades 6 to 8, Jr. Wildlife Vet 103 offers an exciting opportunity to dive into the profession of wildlife veterinary care. Campers will visit the historic Wildlife Care Center in Oregon, interact with educational animals, and embark on trips to nearby rehabilitation centers. They will engage in activities such as examining x-rays of animals, simulating veterinary care practices on stuffed animals, and understanding the importance of wildlife protection in their neighborhoods. The week-long camp emphasizes hands-on learning, environmental stewardship, and a deep understanding of local wildlife needs, making it a unique and educational experience for young animal enthusiasts.
