Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
The ITR Summer Fellowship Program is a five-week, in-person program designed to immerse students in interdisciplinary research related to Alzheimer’s disease. The curriculum includes lectures, rotations through key study protocols, and independent mentored research projects. Participants engage in seminars on disease mechanisms, study design, and effective scientific writing while gaining practical experience with clinical and laboratory methods such as neuropsychological testing and biomarker analyses. Each fellow collaborates closely with a mentor to conduct research and prepare a poster for presentation at academic events. Opportunities to assist with manuscript writing are also available. Overall, the program fosters a profound appreciation for research processes and equips fellows with valuable skills in scientific investigation and communication.
