The Insights into LSU Vet Med Summer Program is an intensive two-week course aimed at undergraduate students interested in veterinary medicine, welcoming participants from across Louisiana and other regions. Additionally, a special day at the Audubon zoo offers a behind-the-scenes perspective on zoo animal care and a chance to learn directly from an experienced zoo veterinarian. The program concludes with professionally conducted mock interviews designed to prepare students for the veterinary school admissions process by offering constructive feedback and interview practice.
