Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
The University of North Dakota’s INMED Summer Programs offer a variety of specialized opportunities for American Indian students and educators interested in medicine and biomedical sciences. The Med Prep program provides intensive MCAT preparation and application guidance for college students preparing to enter medical school, including personalized tutoring, practice exams, and immersive experiences with medical school faculty and facilities. New medical students can benefit from the CLIMB program, which assists them in navigating the academic and social challenges of medical school through workshops on curriculum orientation, study skills, wellness, and financial planning. For educators, the NEUROscience program enables Tribal high school science teachers to engage directly in biomedical research labs, enhancing their teaching skills and scientific knowledge over eight weeks, with financial support provided. These programs run during the summer months, fostering a supportive environment for academic and professional growth in healthcare fields, all hosted at the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
