Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
Hosted by the Idaho National Laboratory, the Idaho STEM Summer Camps provide comprehensive programs aimed at fostering STEM skills among students from grades 1 through 12. The STEM Scholars camp delivers four-day sessions in June and July, catering to early learners through high schoolers with an emphasis on engineering and practical, problem-solving activities. The CyberCore camp, targeted at students entering grades 6 to 12, introduces aspects of cybersecurity and computer science during five-day sessions in June, including hands-on challenges and tours. The new STEM Leaders in Training program focuses on leadership development for returning middle school participants, selected through a merit-based application process. Camps emphasize experiential learning, including coding, physics principles, and clean energy technologies, and occur at locations in Idaho Falls. These no-cost camps offer a valuable chance for young learners to gain exposure to real-world scientific investigation and technological skills in a supportive environment.
