The Health Occupations and Professions Exploration (HOPE) Camp is a unique summer experience lasting four days, aimed at high school juniors, seniors, and recent graduates interested in healthcare careers. Sponsored by NDSUโ€™s College of Health and Human Sciences and Sanford Health, this program immerses students in various medical fields by providing direct exposure to diverse healthcare sectors such as sonography, pharmacy, and pathology. The camp helps participants discover healthcare careers beyond the common roles of doctors and nurses. Attendees benefit from learning about specialized programs, like the sonography program offered through NDSU in partnership with Sanford Medical Center, and enjoy opportunities to connect with industry professionals, easing the transition into college or healthcare careers.
