High School STEAM Summer Camp at FAMU-FSU College of Engineering

This summer camp targets high school students who have finished grades 9 through 11 in the 2023-2024 academic year, offering a chance to explore and grow interest in STEAM disciplines with a focus on engineering. Participants engage in hands-on activities across a range of engineering specialties—mechanical, biomedical, electrical, and environmental—while gaining practical skills like car maintenance. They benefit from exclusive access to innovative research facilities during field trips, enhancing their understanding of potential engineering careers. The camp operates from 10 AM to 3 PM daily, requires campers to bring their own lunch or prepay for meals, and provides transportation from the Challenger Learning Center to the college. This immersive, weeklong experience, held at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering campus, is perfect for students curious about engineering as a career path.
