Hidden Valley Camp offers an exceptional summer sleep-away experience in the scenic setting of Freedom, Maine for children aged 8-14 and teenagers 14-17. This camp provides a wide variety of programs allowing campers to focus on arts, horseback riding, adventure, performing arts, nature, swimming, and sports or combine any of these interests. Rooted in historic progressive educational philosophies promoting experiential learning and inclusion, HVC creates a nurturing environment that balances structure with freedom, encouraging personal growth and confidence. The camp spreads across more than 350 acres featuring pristine meadows, forest trails, and a private lake providing ample opportunities for outdoor exploration. Modern cabin accommodations include comfortable bunks and private bathrooms, while the dining hall caters to diverse dietary needs. Committed to environmental practices, the camp involves campers in conservation efforts and limits electronic device use to promote social interaction and immersion in nature.
