Healthcare Exploration Camp 2025

Shelton State Community College’s Workforce Development program offers the Healthcare Exploration Camp 2025, a complimentary four-day summer camp aimed at young people aged 15 to 18 with aspirations in healthcare professions. Held at the Martin Campus in Tuscaloosa, AL, this camp spans from June 23 through June 26, with daily sessions from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Campers will gain valuable knowledge through practical clinical skill workshops, including techniques such as blood drawing and vital sign measurement. The curriculum also incorporates advanced technology exposure, utilizing Virtual Reality tools and the 3D Anatomy Anatomage table to study human anatomy and medical systems in depth. Participants will learn about the transformative role of technology in contemporary healthcare and can earn certifications in First Aid and CPR, enhancing their credentials.
