Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
Kansas State University’s Health Professions Exploration Program is a residential summer camp tailored for high school juniors and seniors interested in health-related careers. Over the course of one week, students live on campus and delve into various healthcare disciplines through lectures, professional interactions, and direct engagement with current university students and faculty. The camp covers an extensive range of topics including biomedical engineering, nutrition, medical ethics, and community health, allowing participants to explore multiple facets of the health care system. This inclusive program welcomes students without prior healthcare experience, offering insight into potential future careers. Room and board are provided within university residence halls, and meals are served on campus. Limited to 20 students per session, the program fosters an intimate setting for learning and networking. Sessions occur in late June and early July, overseen by college staff and student coordinators, providing a safe and educational summer experience.
