George Fox University’s Pre-College Summer Institute is a transformative one-week program aimed at high school students interested in medical, engineering, and scholarly careers. Scheduled for June 22-27, 2025, the program immerses students in rigorous college-level courses taught by experienced faculty in fields such as nursing, interior design, anatomy for pre-health, engineering, biotechnology, and video game design, with a unique Liberation Scholars track for Latina/o juniors. Students spend their days engaged in hands-on learning and skill development from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., followed by evening recreational and spiritual activities like sports, worship, and movie nights. Participants reside in secure, gender-separated residence halls on campus, enjoy nutritious meals catered to various dietary requirements, and have access to cutting-edge recreational and academic facilities. Attendees earn college credit and a guaranteed $1,000 scholarship upon enrollment at George Fox University. The comprehensive program fee of $1,800 covers coursework, housing, meals, and programming. This summer institute offers a dynamic opportunity for students to advance their education, connect with peers, and prepare for their future academic and professional endeavors.
