Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
Experience an exciting aviation-themed STEM camp at the Naval Aviation Museum with FAD Summer Camp, which welcomes campers entering 5th and 6th grade. Led by certified teachers and Naval Officers, the camp combines the thrill of flight mechanics with the rich history of Naval Aviation. Activities include building and launching model rockets and gliders, attending Blue Angels practices, and enjoying educational movies. Campers also benefit from daily flight simulator sessions conducted by volunteer officers. The week-long sessions run from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with five sessions available during the summer and a limit of 35 campers each. Military families can access a special fee discount. Students need to arrange their own transportation and bring lunch and snacks. Every camper leaves with fun memorabilia such as a t-shirt, lanyard, and logbook.
