Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
The F.A.R.M C.A.M.P provides an enriching one-week summer experience for rural students interested in behavioral health professions. Hosted at Chadron State College, the camp enables students to engage with professionals in the field, learn about psychology, ethics, and mental health treatments through an accredited class, and enjoy recreational activities. Ongoing mentorship after the camp helps students navigate their educational paths in behavioral health. Designed to alleviate the mental health professional shortage in rural Nebraska, the camp also aims to create viable career prospects for rural youth facing economic hardships. Supported by the Behavioral Health Education Center of Nebraska, it strives to remain free for participants to ensure accessibility.
