Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
The EAA Air Academy is a youth summer camp held annually in Oshkosh, WI, lasting one week and catering to teenagers aged 14 to 18. The camp immerses participants in aviation education through interactive activities such as learning flight planning, understanding aircraft construction, and operating flight simulators. Several sessions are held each summer to accommodate more campers. Scholarships funded by EAA Chapter 2 and Vintage Chapter 37 make it possible for selected young aviation enthusiasts, identified through their involvement with the Young Eagles program, to attend the camp free of charge. While the camp offers comprehensive aviation learning experiences, parents must provide transportation for their children. This camp is an excellent way for youth to explore aviation in a hands-on setting.
