Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
The Diabetes Youth Foundation of Indiana (DYFI) is a dedicated non-profit organization established in 1989 with a strong commitment to supporting children living with Type 1 diabetes and their families. DYFI provides comprehensive programs that educate, encourage, and empower youth affected by this condition. Each year, they serve hundreds of young individuals through a variety of unique camp experiences including Residential Summer Camp, Day Camp, Family and Teen Weekends, as well as an Ambassador Program and other outreach initiatives. These programs offer not only medical support and education regarding diabetes management but also foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where children and teens can connect, learn, and grow. DYFI’s camps focus on creating safe, supportive, and enjoyable experiences tailored specifically to the needs of youth with Type 1 diabetes, promoting confidence, independence, and healthy lifestyles.
