Open to all, including parents and those without medical backgrounds, the series involves expert-led lectures that discuss contemporary health issues and treatment methods, encouraging interactive learning through Q&A. The course requires no exams, focusing instead on accessible education. Sessions are held over Zoom and include topics such as behavioral health, neurosurgery, diagnostic imaging, child life, laboratory sciences, and more. Those who attend most sessions can earn a signed Certificate of Achievement and potential membership to the Delaware Youth Medical Academy. This program serves as an enriching experience to those aspiring to enter healthcare professions or simply wanting to learn about the medical field.
