Davidson Institute Summer Programs

Davidson Institute’s summer programs are specifically tailored for profoundly gifted children, providing academically rigorous residential camps for kids aged 8 to 13. Held on the University of Nevada, Reno campus, these camps include the THINK Summer Institute, where older students (13-16) can spend three weeks earning college credits while engaging in challenging academic activities. The camp experience is designed to meet the unique needs of gifted students, ensuring a stimulating environment. Additional programs such as the STARS Summer Camp and REACH Summer Seminar further enhance students’ learning experiences. Beyond camps, the Davidson Institute offers family-oriented events like the annual Davidson Summit, which gathers Davidson youth and families to connect and build relationships, and the Davidson Family Retreat, a relaxed weekend retreat with onsite overnight accommodation.
