Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
CU Pre-Health Scholars Program (CUPS) serves middle and high school students (grades 6 to 12) in Colorado by delivering an enriching academic experience that centers on research, STEAM, and healthcare careers. Designed for first-generation, disadvantaged, and low-income students, this program equips them for success in post-secondary education and professional health fields. Scholars attend monthly Saturday Academies throughout the school year and participate in an intensive summer program at the Anschutz Medical Campus. The program is tuition-free but requires a commitment of time from participants. Applications open annually from August to November, with acceptance notifications in January and program commencement in June. CUPS emphasizes student empowerment and the bridging of educational gaps for underrecognized populations, ensuring that scholars gain both confidence and exposure to healthcare opportunities.
