Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
The College Park Aviation Museum’s summer camp provides an engaging and educational program centered on aviation history and exploration. Campers have the chance to explore the museum’s collection of historic aircraft and try out flight simulators that simulate the experience of flying. The camp also encourages imaginative play, allowing kids to interact with an imagination plane and dress up as pilots, immersing themselves in the aviation experience. Designed to be both fun and instructive, the camp encourages a deeper appreciation of aviation’s heritage and its scientific and technological aspects. Admission is reasonably priced at $2 per camper, with a group policy that admits one adult free for every 10 campers and a small fee for additional adults. Located at a historic airport recognized as the oldest continuously-operating facility worldwide, the camp supports interdisciplinary STEAM education in a rich historical context.
