Civil Air Patrol Hawaii Wing Cadet Program

The Hawaii Wing Cadet Program of the Civil Air Patrol provides a comprehensive youth aviation and leadership experience. Youth participate in weekly educational and practical activities covering aerospace science, technology, leadership, fitness, and character building. A key highlight is the cadet orientation flight program, offering up to five powered and glider flights, along with opportunities to train as drone pilots. The program includes summer encampments and various national special activities that enable cadets to explore careers in STEM fields, leadership, and military training. Additionally, financial support such as scholarships is available through CadetInvest and Cadet Wings to assist cadets in their flight training journey. This program aims to develop confident, capable young leaders with a passion for aviation and service to their communities.
