The CAP Cadet Program is a distinctive youth initiative focusing on aviation for individuals aged 12 to 19 years. This program guides participants through 16 progressive steps embracing aerospace knowledge, leadership skills, physical fitness, and ethical guidance. Cadets have the opportunity to earn scholarships for further study in scientific and technical fields, and those attaining higher ranks can enter the Air Force with elevated status. The program supports a variety of interests from survival and flight training to fields like photography and astronomy. Annual activities vary from local events to national gatherings, with many cadets experiencing their first solo flight at flight camps or academies. Additional adventures include international exchanges and participation in national air shows, offering a comprehensive aviation camp experience.
