Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
CILAT organizes dynamic summer camps focusing on STEM education for children across various elementary grade levels. The Science Discovery Camp for grades 1 through 3 invites kids to engage in scientific inquiry by exploring areas like biology, astronomy, and engineering through immersive experiments and problem-solving tasks. This program fosters excitement for scientific learning by letting children experience science firsthand. The WeDo Robotics Camp targets grades 1 and 2, where participants build and program robots using the popular Lego WeDo kit. This camp teaches foundational concepts in physics and programming, encouraging early interest in technology and robotics. Additionally, students in grades 3 to 5 can join the Biomimicry camp, which combines biology and engineering principles as they learn from nature’s successful designs to invent new solutions. This approach nurtures creativity and cross-disciplinary skills for young inventors. Overall, these camps are designed to provide stimulating, applied STEM education that builds knowledge, skills, and interest in future scientific and technological pursuits.
