Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
At Camp Shamineau, summer camps cater to students from grade 1 through grade 12, offering a variety of programs focused on adventure, skill development, and faith growth. The younger groups experience camp through the Tenderfoot program which eases them into camp life with caring supervision. Middle-level camps like Trailblazer, Cowpoke, Trekker, and Intermediate Island allow kids to engage in outdoor adventures, horseback riding, and community-building while exploring their spiritual journey. For middle schoolers, there’s Voyager and specialist horse camps—Cowboy and Ranch Hand—along with remote island and wilderness trips designed to foster independence and personal growth. High school campers can join Encounter Camp, a spiritually enriching week filled with workshops, activities, and meaningful fellowship, or participate in unique offsite horse adventures and challenging canoe trips in the Boundary Waters. Camps take place across multiple scenic Minnesota locations such as Shamineau in Motley, Rock Ridge in Ely, and the Pillsbury State Forest, providing varied natural settings to inspire campers.
