Camp Med is a unique, no-cost educational program designed to introduce middle school students to various healthcare careers through interactive, hands-on activities. Conducted during the standard school day, these one-day events take place within local middle schools and use a ’round-robin’ style approach where students visit stations dedicated to different health professions. At each station, attendees learn about the career’s work duties, education needed, rewards, and possible challenges, followed by a fun, related activity. This immersive experience provides a broad and rapid introduction to multiple health fields, helping students appreciate the diversity of opportunities in medicine and healthcare.
