Camp Kramer Way

Oklahoma City University’s Kramer School of Nursing offers Camp Kramer Way, a comprehensive three-day summer camp for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors intrigued by the nursing field. Scheduled for June 28-30, the camp leverages the school’s state-of-the-art Meinders Simulation Center to provide realistic healthcare training and insights into nursing careers. With the support of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma, this opportunity is offered free to 20 selected students. The camp experience includes two nights’ lodging in university dormitories, meals, and organized off-campus excursions, giving attendees a well-rounded glimpse into the nursing profession’s demands and rewards. The camp also addresses critical staffing shortages nationwide by inspiring the next generation through hands-on exposure and comprehensive educational support within a nurturing academic environment.
