Camp Easterseals Nebraska

Camp Easterseals Nebraska represents a groundbreaking initiative dedicated to establishing an accessible outdoor learning environment across 64 acres of semi-wooded terrain in Blair, Nebraska. The camp is thoughtfully designed to accommodate Nebraskans of all abilities and ages, with special emphasis on those with disabilities. Among its many features are accessible camping and recreational facilities, an AgrAbility demonstration farm operated in partnership with UNL Extension, and specialized rehabilitation tools and training for disabled farmers and ranchers. The campus will also include an education center focused on disability and agricultural education and provide a hands-on “living classroom” experience for students pursuing careers in health, social services, and agriculture. This project stands as a unique, inclusive hub fostering education, rehabilitation, and recreation within Nebraska’s community.
