Aviation Summer Camp

This Aviation Summer Camp is designed for youths aged 12-17 interested in aviation, offering an immersive experience at a live, secure airport. Over three days, campers enjoy real piloting opportunities in Piper Cherokee aircraft and participate in tours of executive and corporate jets to understand private aviation. They delve into airport operations through visits to airport fire stations, maintenance areas, and the busy ATL airport’s transit systems. The camp features presentations on air traffic control and aircraft communication, and opportunities to explore the Delta Flight Museum and shop alongside professional pilots. Campers engage in flight experiences that provide hands-on opportunities under expert guidance. The program, held at Centennial Aviation Academy, combines education with thrilling aviation activities, making it a top-rated specialty camp. It runs on weekdays with lunch options and concludes with flight sessions.
