Aviation Experience

The Aviation Experience camp provides a unique opportunity for middle and high school students from the Portland and Vancouver areas, especially those from underrepresented groups, to explore aviation. Set at Pearson Field in Vancouver, Washington, this camp spans two days and features educational sessions covering pilot basics, STEM-engaging activities, and an overview of aviation history. Participants also get the chance to take discovery flights in general aviation planes. Safety protocols related to COVID-19 are in place, and some components such as a career panel are held virtually prior to the event. Enrollment is capped at 50 students, necessitating early registration to participate.
