Aviation Camp

This aviation-themed summer camp is designed for children aged 8 to 16 to explore the fundamentals of flight and gain practical aviation skills. Led by FAA certified instructors, campers participate in ground school lessons, interactive classroom exercises, and flight simulator sessions using the Redbird simulator. They visit the Lyon Air Museum to view historic military aircraft and learn about preflight inspections and flight operations with a Cessna 172. The camp concludes with flight simulation challenges and a graduation ceremony. With limited enrollment to six participants per session and two pricing and program options, the camp blends education and hands-on experiences to inspire young aviation enthusiasts. The next registration period begins in early 2023 for summer sessions available from early June through late July.
