Aviation Camp aims to spark interest and enhance technical knowledge in aviation and aerospace for students entering grades 4 through 12 in fall 2025. Participants experience a blend of theoretical and practical learning, covering fundamental concepts of flight and aerospace technology. The camp’s curriculum includes innovative subjects like drone operation and programming autonomous systems, highlighting evolving aviation technologies. Older campers gain hands-on experience with engineering tasks such as sheet metal drilling and riveting, alongside lessons emphasizing safety protocols. This program is hosted by St. Cloud Technical & Community College in partnership with the National Center for Autonomous Technologies and supported by experienced instructors and mentors from the aviation sector.
