Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
The Aviation Camp creates an exciting environment for children and teenagers interested in space and aviation through various summer programs at locations like Exploration Place, the Cosmosphere, and the Kansas Aviation Museum. Designed for students from elementary through high school, camp offerings include introductory to advanced courses, covering topics such as flight history, airplane mechanics, and flight training with real pilots. Programs like Little Aviators cater to young children, while more advanced camps are available for older youth, including day and overnight options. Campers engage in interactive projects such as constructing model airplanes, testing in wind tunnels, launching gliders, and visiting air traffic control towers. These camps encourage curiosity, innovation, and deeper understanding of aerospace, all delivered in collaboration with aviation industry partners. The diversity of courses ensures a comprehensive experience tailored to different age groups and interests.
