Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
At the Annapolis Maritime Museum & Park Summer Camp, children aged from Kindergarten to 9th grade immerse themselves in the wonders of the Chesapeake Bay environment across a sprawling 12-acre site equipped with trails, a cove, and marshland. The camp balances educational and recreational activities ranging from artistic projects and water play for younger kids to more advanced outdoor adventures such as kayaking, engineering challenges, and leadership development for older campers. Operating on a weekly session model from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with options for extended care, this camp emphasizes experiential learning through themed weeks that include pirate adventures, wildlife exploration, environmental stewardship, and hands-on STEM activities. With a camper-to-staff ratio of 10 to 1, children receive personalized guidance from qualified instructors, including specialized kayak training. While campers bring their own lunch, the camp provides snacks and ensures a safe environment through rigorous staff training and licensing through the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. AMM Summer Camp also offers registration benefits for members and financial aid to support families.
