Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
At the New England Air Museum, the Aerospace Academy summer camp invites children aged 9-12 to explore the exciting world of aviation. Guided by the museum’s Director of Education, Amanda Goodheart Parks, Ph.D., the camp is tailored to inspire young minds through interactive play and learning. Participants will work with drones and robots and experience flight through the Redbird flight simulator. Weekly sessions run throughout July and August, featuring exciting field trips to the Tech Center pool at Central Connecticut State University to operate submersibles and exclusive tours at Brainard Airport. The camp fosters a blend of education and fun, with the goal of igniting a passion for aerospace. Financial support is available through scholarships and a sibling discount program. The camp operates from the renowned New England Air Museum, home to a vast array of historic and modern aircraft, located next to Bradley International Airport.
