ACE Camp at Hartness State Airport

The ACE Camp hosted at Hartness State Airport in North Springfield, Vermont, is a comprehensive educational program designed for young aviation enthusiasts aged 12 to 16. This week-long day camp from August 15 to 19 provides campers with the chance to dive into the aviation and aerospace fields through a series of engaging, practical sessions. Campers learn about flight mechanics, safety procedures, teamwork, and various aviation careers from skilled professionals, including military and civilian experts. Activities include model rocket construction and launching, navigation exercises, flight simulation, and actual flights with FAA Certified pilots. The New England Soaring Association complements the experience with introductory glider rides.
